Destin Luxury Market Report – October 2014

The statistics below focus on the top of the market ($1,000,000 and up) for the City of Destin, Florida. The chart on the left shows a year-over-year comparison for January through September and includes residential properties only (condos, town homes, single family homes). The chart on the right shows active residential properties at the beginning of the fourth quarter – October 1st 2014. The luxury market statistics for Destin were compiled from the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors MLS system.

Compared to the first three quarters of 2013, there have been 3 less luxury property sales in 2014. While the days on the market have decreased, so has the price per square foot and average sales price.

As of the beginning of the 4th quarter, 2014, there are 150 active luxury properties in Destin. The average price per square foot is almost $100 higher per foot than the sold prices for 2013 and 2014.

Miramar Beach Luxury Market Report – October 2014

The statistics below focus on the top of the market ($1,000,000 and up) for Miramar Beach, Florida. The chart on the left shows a year-over-year comparison for January through September and includes residential properties only (condos, town homes, single family homes). The chart on the right shows active residential properties at the beginning of the fourth quarter – October 1st 2014. Miramar Beach Luxury Real Estate Sold 2013 2014

Compared to the first three quarters of 2013, there have been 20 more luxury property sales in 2014. While the average size of the property and average sales price has decreased, the average price per square foot has increased $52.33 per foot! Days on the market has also decreased signifigantly.

Miramar Beach Luxury Real Estate for sale

As of the beginning of the 4th quarter, 2014, there are 92 active luxury properties in Miramar Beach. The average price per square foot is $35.54 per foot higher than the current sold price per square foot.

North Santa Rosa Beach Luxury Market Report – October 2014

The statistics below focus on the top of the market ($1,000,000 and up) for North Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The statistics below focus on the top of the market ($1,000,000 and up) for South Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. As of the beginning of the 4th quarter, 2014, there are 303 active luxury properties in 30A/South Santa Rosa Beach. The average price per square foot is $81.54 per foot higher than the 2014 sold price per square foot.
